I am excited to return to DC and share 🌺 WHEN THE HIBISCUS FALLS 🌺 with both the Filipino-American community and the community at large. I met Naomi Tacuyan Underwood at a reading for the Filipinos for Obama Inaugural Gala in 2009. We have been sister aktivista ever since. Every time I return to DC it’s a throw back to those early days with Kaya: Filipino Americans for Progress. 🌺WHEN THE HIBISCUS FALLS🌺 dwells in the play of Kapwa and the energies of the Babaylan.
