I’m grateful for those who have come before me – my ancestors, my teachers, and the people of my community. I thank them for their lessons, for their struggles, and for their support. In my own life, my mentors have encouraged me to live the way I see fit, to speak my truth, and to write it down so it makes sense. I cannot imagine growing into this life without them, nor can I imagine living my life without passing on all that they have given me.
